20,000 Jobs Offered at First Day of Career Fair

Phnom Penh: The National Online Job and Productivity Fair has started today and will end tomorrow, with companies and enterprises offering 20,000 jobs opportunities. The fair counts with the presence of ministries, institutions, development partners and national and international organizations.

The information was shared by Minister of Labour and Vocational Training Ith Samheng, while presiding over the opening ceremony held virtually this morning at www.careerfair.nea.gov.kh.

The Minister has stated the online fair has sought effective ways to meet the needs of job seekers in order to expand the scope of work and absorb potential and skillful labor force for working positions.

He underlined the online platform is purposeful and cost-effective, with easy ways to be found and accessed with quick response. It also prevents the spread of Covid-19, since gatherings are being avoided.
